- Skirting is manufactured from high density polymer by a process known as extrusion
- In other words: polystyrene granules, additives and foaming agents are melted to a liquid state and pushed through a profile die. This extruded material is then run through a cooling process causing the heated material to harden making it impact resistance. During extrusion the decor layer is heat fused to the base substrate, resulting in the finished product being 100% waterproof, highly chemical and scuff resistance and cannot delaminate.
- 80-100% of this product is manufactured from waste polystyrene which would have ended up in a landfill.

- Skirting covers the expansion gap at the wall for laminated flooring boards/planks
